Mission Statement

Our mission in the Colbert School District Technology Education program is to promote the application of technological concepts, processes, and systems. Our student-centered program utilizes problem solving experiences to make connections between concepts and real world solutions with a focus on creating tangible products. Through our program students will acquire the necessary technological skills to be successful in 21st Century careers. 

Overview

The goal of the 7-12 Technology Education program is to foster the development of essential skills enabling students to understand how technologies are developed and used.  
The Technology Education program utilizes problem-based activities which allow students the opportunity to understand and evaluate technological solutions and their effects on the environment and society itself.
