We urge each parent/guardian that has a child attending Colbert School to please take the time to familiarize yourself with the school and meet your child's teacher. Each teacher has a break between classes sometime during the day and this would be a wonderful time for you to schedule a meeting to visit with the teacher to discuss your child's studies and individual needs. If you are not able to visit with the teacher in person during the day, please take the time to telephone the teacher to check on your child's progress, or check out the new service on the website provided by the school showing your child's grades. The administration and staff of Colbert School each have a desire to help your child reach their full potential.

If you live in the Colbert School district and are in need of food, please contact the First Baptist Church at 304 Franklin Street here in Colbert. The telephone number to the church is 580-296-2926. You can pick up the food on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
If you would like to participate in the Angel Food Ministries (where you purchase food boxes), please contact the United Methodist Church in Colbert. The address is 300 Burney Street. The telephone number to the church is 580-296-2665. Food orders are placed at the church on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. The pick up date for the food is the 4th Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Refer to the Links page for monthly menus and additional information.
The Country Lighthouse Gospel Church at 981 South Franklin, Colbert, OK, provides food to families in need. The food is dispensed on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. For more information, please contact Beatrice Beal at 580-296-2141.
